Attendants sort items with white and color separations, wash and dry at appropriate temperatures, and fold everything neatly after fluffing to help reduce wrinkles. Socks are matched, items are bagged for protection, and you’re alerted when delivery is on the way and when it’s dropped off—so you always know where things stand.
Preferences, Upgrades, and Special Requests

Add preferences for washer and dryer temperatures, request free & clear alternatives for sensitive skin (a $2.00 upcharge), or upgrade to premium detergents like Tide, Tide Free & Clear, or 7th Generation for $2.00. Most pickup and delivery orders include everyday basics and weekly essentials: T-shirts, undershirts, jeans, pants, shorts, socks, underwear, bras, sleepwear, hoodies, sweaters, uniforms, workout clothes, towels, washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, kitchen towels, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, comforters, duvet covers, mattress pads, and small household linens. Customers also send along extras like robes, rags, and reusable cleaning cloths when those pile up.
Drop-Off Wash and Fold Service
If you prefer dropping laundry off in person, Prairie Breeze offers wash and fold service at the Prairie Breeze counter inside Lawrence Laundromat. Attendants check in your order, note any preferences, and return your laundry washed, dried, fluffed, and folded in protective bags. Wash & fold service hours are Monday–Friday 10AM–6PM and Saturday–Sunday 10AM–2PM. Same-day wash & fold is available Monday through Friday only and must be dropped off by noon.
Self-Service Laundromat Option
For customers who want to wash and dry on-site, Prairie Breeze recommends its sister facility, Lawrence Laundromat, with a wide mix of machine sizes for small loads through large family loads. Self-service hours run 6AM to Midnight daily, with last wash at 10:30PM. The laundromat is attended Monday–Friday 10AM–6PM and Saturday–Sunday 10AM–2PM, and amenities include Wi-Fi, vending, laundry products, arcade games, massage chairs, and an ATM/change machine.
