If you have preferences—like free and clear products for sensitive skin, specific wash and dry temperatures, or extra instructions—you can include notes when placing your order so the team follows them consistently.
Flexible Pricing for Recurring or As-Needed Laundry
Prairie Breeze offers pickup and delivery options that work whether you want a routine schedule or occasional help. Recurring service is priced at $2.25 per pound, and as-needed service is $2.50 per pound, with a $25 minimum order. Your card is collected when you place the order, but it is not billed until your laundry is completed and weighed.
Options for Detergent Upgrades and Hanger Return
If you want premium brand products, Prairie Breeze can wash with options such as Tide, Tide Free & Clear, and 7th Generation for a $2.00 upcharge. For items you prefer to keep wrinkle-free, hanger service is available at $0.50 per hanger. After washing and folding, everything is packed into protective laundry bags and you’re notified when delivery is on the way and again when it arrives.

Pickup and delivery is ideal for everyday clothing and home laundry that can be washed and tumble-dried. That includes shirts, pants, socks, underwear, pajamas, hoodies, workout gear, uniforms, towels, washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, bed sheets, pillowcases, and lightweight blankets. Many customers also send household linens such as kitchen towels and cleaning rags, plus frequently used items like gym towels and team practice apparel.
Drop-Off Wash and Fold Service
If you’d rather bring laundry in yourself, Prairie Breeze also offers drop-off wash and fold service at the Prairie Breeze counter inside Lawrence Laundromat, located at 711 W. 23rd Street, Suite 11, Lawrence, KS 66046. Next-day wash and fold is $1.80 per pound with a 10 lb minimum, and same-day wash and fold is $2.50 per pound with a 10 lb minimum; same-day is Monday through Friday only and must be dropped off by noon. Counter hours are 10AM–6PM Monday–Friday and 10AM–2PM Saturday and Sunday.
Self-Service Laundromat Option at Lawrence Laundromat
For customers who prefer to do laundry on-site, Lawrence Laundromat (Prairie Breeze’s sister facility) is open daily from 6AM to midnight, with last wash at 10:30PM. The laundromat is attended 10AM–6PM Monday–Friday and 10AM–2PM on weekends, and it offers a range of washer and dryer sizes to handle anything from small loads to large household loads. Amenities include Wi-Fi, vending machines for snacks and laundry products, arcade games, massage chairs, and an ATM.
