Every order is treated with care and kept separate. Laundry is sorted (including whites and colors), washed and dried at appropriate temperatures, then fluffed to reduce wrinkles and folded neatly. If you have preferences, you can request adjustments like Free & Clear detergent alternatives for sensitive skin (with a $2.00 upcharge) and specific wash/dry temperature choices. If you want items returned on hangers, hanger service is available for $0.50 per hanger.
Transparent Pricing With Options for Ongoing or One-Time Service
Pickup and delivery pricing is straightforward with a $25 minimum order. Choose recurring service at $2.25 per pound for routine weekly or bi-weekly laundry, or use as-needed service at $2.50 per pound when you want help on demand. Your card isn’t billed until your laundry is completed and weighed, so you’re charged based on the actual finished weight.
Common Items We Pick Up and Return Clean
Most pickup and delivery orders include everyday essentials like shirts, jeans, socks, underwear, pajamas, hoodies, dresses, towels, washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, kitchen towels, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and basic linens. Many customers also send uniforms and workwear (including coveralls), gym clothing, scrubs, aprons, and small household textiles that can be washed and tumble-dried.

Prefer to drop it off yourself? Prairie Breeze Express Laundry also offers drop-off wash and fold inside Lawrence Laundromat. Next-day service is $1.80 per pound with a 10-pound minimum. Same-day service is available Monday through Friday at $2.50 per pound with a 10-pound minimum, and must be dropped off by noon to be ready by close. The wash & fold counter is open Monday–Friday 10AM–6PM and Saturday–Sunday 10AM–2PM.

If you’d rather do your own laundry, you can use Lawrence Laundromat, our sister facility in Lawrence. It’s open daily from 6AM to Midnight, with last wash at 10:30PM. The laundromat offers a wide range of washer and dryer sizes to handle anything from smaller loads to oversized items, plus attendants on-site during the day to help keep things running smoothly and the space well maintained.
